Hermes Tools Quick Reference
Map every knowledge point from Chapters 1-4 to a specific Hermes component — a feature reverse-lookup
One-line positioning
Chapters 1-4 are "knowledge." This chapter is "where to click." Each component covers three things: what it looks like, what to watch, how to operate.
After this you'll be able to reverse-lookup from any Hermes panel: "What knowledge did I just see?"
Three master mantras (run through all components)
1. Numbers = regime. Slope = flow direction. Zero-cross = switch.
2. Price and NET same direction = add fuel. Opposite = watch for reversal.
3. Single layer = don't open. ★★★ = must defend.

| Green | Positive GEX (Long Gamma contribution) |
| Red | Negative GEX (Short Gamma contribution) |
| Length | |gex_vol| magnitude for that strike |
→ Direct visual of Chapter 1's GEX distribution.
4.3 Heat Trail (bottom-right)
Five time windows (1m / 5m / 10m / 15m / 30m):
- Records "max_priors" (hottest strike) per window
- Multiple windows hitting same strike → strike is being persistently heated
- Used in Chapter 3 Step 4 weighting
4.4 NET overlay (optional)
Subchart below main chart overlays NET timeseries:
- Watch slope: up/down = which way positioning is moving
- Watch zero-cross: zero-cross = Gamma Flip
- Watch price agreement/divergence: confirmation or warning
→ Maps to master mantra: Numbers = regime, slope = flow direction, zero-cross = switch.
5. Levels Reading Board

7. TacticalHUD
Three-stage decision card, matching Chapter 2's Zone → Scenario → Momentum.
7.1 Three-column structure
| Column | Content | Data source |
|---|---|---|
| Zone (left) | Nearest ★★★ / ★★ zone + distance | computeConfluence() |
| Scenario (mid) | Auto-lists 2-3 scripts (Reject / Break / Pin) | Combines NET + HVL + distance logic |
| Momentum (right) | Radar chart + trigger conditions | Statistical Radar |
7.2 How to use
1. Zone card lights up (near ★★★ zone) → attention up
2. Scenario auto-listed → pick a sensible one
3. Momentum radar hits trigger → enter
4. Exit per Scenario's invalidation condition→ Maps perfectly to Chapter 2's three-stage method and Chapter 4's Confluence practice.

Practical workflow (recommended)
Chain all components into a complete trading day:
Pre-open (08:00 ET)
1. Open /market-prep Pre-Market Prep
→ Overnight sentiment + key Levels + AI Broadcast
→ Write 1-2 scripts in your notebook
2. Switch back to HuntingFlow main panel
→ Confirm NET / HVL match pre-market analysis
→ Confirm regime tint matches expectationOpen 09:30 - 10:30
3. Watch Narrative Strip for day's script
4. Watch Gamma Flip Alert (any regime switch trigger?)
5. Check Levels Reading Board sorting, identify ★★★ zones
6. Mark 1-2 entry candidates on the main chartMid-session 11:00 - 14:00
7. Watch Heat Trail — is it sustained on same zone?
- Yes → Confluence strengthening, script probability rising
- No → Flow dispersing, wait
8. Wait for TacticalHUD Momentum radar to activate
9. Enter + manage per Scenario invalidation conditionClose-out 14:30 - 16:00
10. Switch to EOD Magnet Clock
→ Is the magnet strike your position target?
11. Vanna Heat lit? → Add to position into close-out?
12. History Replay → Review entire dayOne-line summary
Hermes is not prediction software. It's a "dealer-perspective translation machine."
It takes the full-market option chain's hedging-pressure distribution and translates it into a chart you can read in 60 seconds.
Your job doesn't change — wait for the script, wait for momentum, wait for invalidation. Hermes compresses "where to look" to its absolute minimum.
